Thousands of lanterns are lit up for Mid-Autumn Festival in Hong Kong

More than 3,000 lanterns from around the world lit up Hong Kong’s Victoria Park ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival on Friday. The event showcased lanterns shaped like Hong Kong’s iconic food items, such as egg tarts and egg waffles. The show will run until October 4, 2026.
