Nepal observed a national day of mourning following a devastating glacial collapse near the China-Nepal border last month that unleashed deadly flash floods. At least 1,380 people have been confirmed dead and more than 5,500 others remain missing. While some families have been reunited with survivors, others marked the day by continuing to hold out hope that their loved ones will be found alive.
