Hong Kong’s first robot-run convenience stores

Beijing-based company Galbot has launched its first humanoid robot-operated convenience stores in Hong Kong. The venues include two outdoor shops in Hung Hom and Wan Chai and an indoor store at Kai Tak. SCMP reporter Llewellyn Cheung got a first-hand look at the store to see what the fully automated shopping experience was like.
