Massive landslide hits Sichuan, but casualties avoided

A landslide struck Shidaguan village in Diexi Town, Mao County, in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan on Wednesday, but no casualties were reported. An unstable slope was identified ahead of the incident and 161 residents in harm’s way were evacuated by late last month.
