Rescuers in Nepal continue trying to reach hundreds of workers believed trapped inside tunnels at hydropower plant projects at the nation’s border with China. Authorities estimate that about 900 people remain trapped inside six hydropower plants in Nepal, where a glacier collapse last Wednesday sent a giant wave of mud, rock and water barrelling through mountain valleys, killing more than 1,200 people. Several hundred workers have been rescued from the tunnels, including 32-year-old Dhan Bahadur Tamang, who says he is grateful to have survived the disaster.
