CUHK students call for suspension of ‘sexist’ professor

An economics associate professor from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has issued a formal apology over what has been described as a “sexist” talk delivered at a college assembly. Slides presented at the talk by Terrence Chong Tai-lung included titles such as, “The Cost-Benefit Analysis of Women Marrying for Money”. Chong’s alleged remarks have drawn public backlash and online criticism.
