The document promotes the so-called “community of shared human destiny,” claiming China will “never seek hegemony,” will “maintain nuclear forces at the minimum level necessary for national security,” and “actively promote international legal documents that pledge not to use nuclear weapons first.”This white paper, which appears emotional and peace-loving, should not be considered a genuine peace declaration. Instead, it seems to be a plea directed at the United States and President Trump. While it may appear humble at first glance, it can be interpreted as misleading and manipulative in its intent.
