In July 2025, China’s housing market faces a severe crisis, with Beijing leading a 1.1% month-on-month decline in second-hand home prices, followed by Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. The collapse of these key markets signals a broader real estate downturn, with transaction volumes plummeting up to 35%. State-owned enterprises are tasked with absorbing 408 million square meters of excess inventory, but the allocated 300 billion yuan falls short. This crisis, coupled with declining retail sales and industrial output, is eroding middle-class wealth, with 70% of household assets tied to real estate. The shift toward a state-controlled rental system raises concerns about deprivatization and political compliance. The collapse of Evergrande and widespread unemployment in construction signal a fracturing social order, as real estate, a quarter of GDP, impacts over 60 industries, threatening economic stability and social trust.Help me grow the channel by donating any amount through the link below—your support makes a difference!https://paypal.me/DonXiangEmail me: [email protected]:00 Intro0:07 The Shattering of a Stronghold1:33 A Market in Freefall2:23 The State Steps In3:32 A Drop in the Ocean4:45 The Wealth Reset5:21 Economic Ripples6:52 A Dire Predicament7:25 A Fractured Social Order8:34 Human Toll of the Collapse9:39 Dreams Turn to Dust10:48 The Rise of State Control11:30 A Frozen Economy12:44 A Loss of Faith13:32 Wealth in New Hands14:15 A Nation at the Brink

A nationalistic Chinese tourist recently starred in a squabble at the Chinatown in Yokohama, Japan. Apparently the visitor was mad at seeing row after row of Taiwan flags at a local restaurant, and went inside to demand they be taken down. Little did the traveler know that the owner of the eatery was Taiwanese and was not having any of it. Let’s hear more.Member of publicI think it’s a little unreasonable that this Chinese tourist thought to make demands while visiting Japan. They really have been brainwashed. What they need to do is learn to respect how different countries treat us.Member of publicThe restaurant is free to do whatever it wants. If they want to put up any country’s flags, so be it.Member of publicIt’s not surprising that a Chinese tourist would do that. Incidents like these pop up in the news every so often. We face oppression everywhere. Two years ago, a YouTuber featured the 30-year-old restaurant in a video. It turns out, that back then it was already flying Taiwan flags proudly. The eatery is located in Yokohama’s Chinatown, which even has a little stretch of road packed with Taiwan flags. The district was established 160 years ago, and now it’s catching headlines due to unruly Chinese visitors. For more Taiwan news, tune in:Mon to Fri at 9:30 pm on Channel 152Tue to Sat at 1 am on Channel 53

Astronauts revealed Life Inside China’s Space Station BETTER & ADVANCED than NASA & SpaceX===#spacezone #space #spacexstarship #starship ===Astronauts revealed Life Inside China’s Space Station BETTER & ADVANCED than NASA & SpaceXMore than 20 years younger, the Chinese space station is less than half the size of the International Space Station. But don’t let its modest size fool you—this modern station is incredibly advanced, both on the outside and within. We’re all quite familiar with life aboard the ISS, so we think we know what living in space looks like. But trust me—once you see how the Chinese crews live inside the Tiangong, it might just change your perspective entirely.Astronauts revealed Life Inside China’s Space Station BETTER & ADVANCED than NASA & SpaceXThe Tiangong space station currently consists of three interconnected modules arranged in a T-shaped configuration, orbiting approximately 400 kilometers above Earth. At its center is the Tianhe Core Module, which links two laboratory modules named Wentian and Mengtian. The cool thing is, although the external diameter of Tiangong’s modules is nearly identical to that of the modules on the International Space Station—about 4.2 meters—the interior of Tiangong feels noticeably more spacious. This impression comes from its modern layout and more efficient use of available space. So, let’s look at the inside of the core module first. The Tianhe Core Module, the first to be launched, forms the backbone of the entire station. It is divided into several interconnected sections. The node cabin serves as a central docking hub, while the life control cabin is split into a larger and a smaller segment. The smaller section houses the astronauts’ living quarters, including their sleeping and hygiene areas, along with fire control systems, onboard computers, and communication equipment. Connecting the living compartment to the rear docking area is the resource cabin, which supports various operational systems. Surrounding these internal sections is an unpressurized service area that contains the station’s main engines, propellant tanks, power systems, and parts of the communication network.Astronauts revealed Life Inside China’s Space Station BETTER & ADVANCED than NASA & SpaceXInside the core module, six zones have been set up for the astronauts – for work, sleep, sanitation, dining, healthcare, and exercise, all fully covered by Wifi.Like I mentioned earlier, one of the big differences with Tiangong is how modern the tech is. A lot of systems are wireless, so they don’t need to run a messy spider web of cables like you see on the ISS. Plus, a lot of the tech is hidden behind plain white panels when it’s not being used, which makes everything look super clean and sleek.

China’s property giant Evergrande has been officially delisted from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, closing a chapter on the world’s largest real estate failure. Once worth over $51 billion, Evergrande now has a value of just $282 million. Its collapse reflects years of reckless debt-fueled growth, unfinished housing projects, and a crackdown on excessive borrowing that has shaken China’s entire property market. With developers like Country Garden also facing liquidation, the fallout is far from over. Millions of homebuyers are left in limbo, creditors are writing off billions, and one of China’s biggest economic engines is broken. Evergrande’s fall is more than a corporate failure—it’s a cautionary tale about debt, regulation, and fragile trust in global markets.

Donald Trump has threatened a 200% tariff on China if Beijing curbs rare earth supplies again. Rare earths are critical for modern technology — from smartphones to electric cars — and China controls 90% of global supply. While Trump points to airplane parts as U.S. leverage, analysts say Beijing still holds the stronger hand.—

China’s economy isn’t just slowing—it’s rotting from the top. In this deep-dive, I unpack Nobel Prize–winning economist Daron Acemoglu’s argument (“China’s economy is rotting from the head”) and show how it’s playing out today: property implosion, local-government debt, youth unemployment, collapsing confidence, and a system that rewards loyalty over innovation. I draw on the Why Nations Fail framework—inclusive vs. extractive institutions—to explain why short-term “miracles” built on centralized power eventually stall. We look at how extractive politics + extractive economics (one-man rule, no accountability, patronage markets) choke risk-taking, freeze entrepreneurship, and turn banks into lifelines for zombie firms. From zero-COVID whiplash to tech and tutoring crackdowns to “common prosperity” squeezes, Beijing has prioritized control over growth—and the bill is due. We also dig into demographics (aging population, falling births), capital flight, ghost cities, and why “concrete ≠ prosperity.”This is not about lazy workers or weak founders—China’s talent is real. The problem is the operating system: innovation by permission slip, profits by proximity, and propaganda over feedback. I compare China’s path with South Korea/Taiwan’s transition toward inclusion and the Soviet Union’s double-extractive collapse to show the forks ahead: stagnation or crack-up.If you care about geopolitics, markets, and the future of Asia, this episode connects the dots—why the rot starts at the top, how it drips through the economy, and what it means for Taiwan, supply chains, and global risk.If this helped, smash like, subscribe, and share. After vanishing from public view for more than 20 days, Xi Jinping suddenly reappeared in Tibet—but his “grand comeback” raised more questions than answers. Why did he wobble as he walked? Why was he in Lhasa for less than 24 hours? Why did key generals skip the trip, leaving only a disciplinary officer by his side? Do they have anything to do with the 4-point consensus reached by various factions at Beidaihe? In this episode, we break down seven strange clues from Xi’s Tibet visit—and what they reveal about his health, his power, and who really controls the Chinese regime.

Washington-based aircraft corporation Boeing is in talks to sell as many as 500 jets to China, according to Bloomberg News.”This is wonderful news for Washington [state], obviously, with new jobs,” aviation expert Michael Boyd said.If the 500 plane deal goes through, this would be the first major deal between China and Boeing in years. Since 2019, Boeing has only recorded 30 orders from China.”China cut Boeing off about five years ago. Since then, they have been doing business with Airbus. I think China understands they need Boeing,” Boyd said. “This is Boeing throwing them a lifeline because they need those airplanes.”Boyd said while the deal is big for Boeing and jobs in the state, this also sends a large message on the global aviation scale.”This also goes out and tells the entire world that Boeing and Airbus are back in the program and there’s no one really to argue with them,” he said.Boyd further stated, “This is the end of the Chinese airliner manufacturing.”He said despite China having a rapidly growing air transportation system, what they have in terms of aircraft is old. And while Boyd said China will rely on Boeing for a new fleet, the question will be whether the company can deliver.————————————————–

Despite the warm relationship between US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Trump’s first term, India was among the countries hit hardest by Trump’s latest tariffs. India was even punished with secondary sanctions for purchasing Russian oil, while Beijing dodged the same levies despite being Moscow’s largest trading partner. Burned by Washington, New Delhi is now turning towards its long-time rival. So far, the results are mixed. India has gained access to China’s rare earths, but also found itself in a fresh diplomatic spat after claiming the Chinese Foreign Ministry ‘misquoted’ its stance on Taiwan. Can India and China move beyond their border disputes and decades of distrust? And how does Tibet fit into their relationship? On September 3rd, Tiananmen Square will host a military parade Beijing calls a celebration of victory. But behind the flags and missiles lies a storm of fear, purges, and political intrigue. For Xi Jinping, it could be the most dangerous event of his life. The parade marshal still hasn’t been named. Ammunition and troops are stationed just a kilometer from Zhongnanhai. Forty-four generals have fallen in three years. Xi’s once-loyal aides have vanished or been demoted. Will this parade show strength—or expose Xi’s weakness? The world is watching, because anything could happen on that day.

Eighty years after it played a pivotal role in World War 2, the Pacific island of Tinian in the Northern Marianas (CNMI) has reemerged as a critical part of “America’s Asian frontline”. In August 1945, Tinian’s North Field was the site where the world’s nuclear bomb was loaded onto the Enola Gay, before being dropped on Hiroshima. The same airstrip was recently cleared of decades of jungle overgrowth. Located less than 3,000km from Taiwan, this U.S. overseas territory forms part of the ‘Second Island Chain’ in the U.S. strategy to contain China. Last month, however, the governor died abruptly after repeatedly warning of growing Chinese influence as well as domestic corruption. What role would Tinian play in a potential Taiwan Strait conflict? And how concerned should we be about the late governor’s warnings? Join us as we discuss the escalating race among Beijing, Washington and their allies for geopolitical influence in the Pacific.

On the early morning of August 22, around 3:00 AM, workers were busy with the steel strand tensioning operations on the key section of the Qingshai segment of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, preparing for the final connection of the Jianzha Yellow River Super Bridge. The site was brightly lit. Suddenly, a loud crash shattered the quiet night as several crucial steel strands snapped, causing the bridge to lose its tension. In just 3 seconds, the 108-meter steel beam collapsed, and parts of the structure plunged into the fast-moving Yellow River below.Surveillance footage captured this dramatic moment: construction equipment, including cranes, fell into the river, and several workers fell from different heights on the platform.

China’s economy relies heavily on government borrowing to sustain exports, investment, and consumption. Massive infrastructure projects, subsidies, and handouts have driven GDP growth but pushed the macro leverage ratio past 300%, outpacing most nations. While developed economies deleverage, China’s debt surges, with households and businesses nearing their limits. This approach, rooted in a 2008 stimulus, prioritizes stability over returns, risking a debt crisis by 2030. Alternatives like structural reforms or cash transfers are politically costly and slow, leaving borrowing as the default. U.S. tariffs and global isolation add pressure, with China’s fiscal space shrinking. If unchecked, China could face Japan-level debt within five years, undermining its global standing. The U.S., leveraging its consumer power, may outlast China’s debt-fueled strategy, potentially leading to an economic collapse without direct confrontation. Preparation is urged as crises may converge rapidly.Help me grow the channel by donating any amount through the link below—your support makes a difference!https://paypal.me/DonXiangEmail me: [email protected]:00 Intro1:11 The Debt-Fueled Engine of Growth2:05 A Ticking Clock for Stability2:53 The Burden of Borrowing4:01 The Accelerating Debt Spiral5:09 A Five-Year Countdown6:03 The Illusion of Prosperity6:59 Borrowing Without Returns8:05 The Cost of Stability8:56 The Road Not Taken9:52 The Weight of External Pressures11:25 The Global Chessboard
