China laid US-Australia mineral deal ‘in our lap’

Nationals Leader David Littleproud says Chinese President Xi Jinping laid Australia’s mineral deal with the US “in our lap”.Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia that the deal was a “goal that we couldn’t miss”.“The reality was China made it very clear about what they intended to do around those critical minerals, and the United States and Trump was in a corner,” he said.“And we’re the ones that have it sitting underneath our feet.”
