At around 3 a.m. on February 25, 2025, several Taiwanese patrol boats surrounded a cargo ship flying the Togolese flag about six nautical miles northwest of Jiangjun Fishing Harbor in Tainan, southern Taiwan. As one of the patrol boats gradually approached the cargo ship, the sea was rough, and the vessel rocked in the dark waves. Several patrol officers struggled to board the ship. Taiwan is apparently taking part in the Cobra Gold multilateral military exercises in Thailand for the first time. The country was mentioned in a post on the official Cobra Gold Facebook page but was removed from the post a few hours later.

In the barren wilds of Chenzhou, Hunan, a drone discovered a mysterious, abandoned parking lot. Dozens of new energy buses were parked neatly in rows. What on earth happened here to leave so many buses unused? These vehicles are worth tens of millions. From the drone’s view, the buses still look quite new—they probably haven’t been used for long and already have license plates. Yet, weeds now grow all around them, even covering their wheels, and their bodies are covered in dust, showing they have been parked for a long time. Seen from above, the scene is truly shocking. Some buses have badly damaged doors and windows, and when you get closer, you can see that some seats have been removed. It’s such a waste to see so many buses left to decay.
