By mid-March, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had repeatedly sent large groups of military aircraft and warships to harass the Taiwan Strait, reigniting concerns that these drills could escalate into real combat. Taiwan began discussing how to quickly mobilize. However, transitioning from drills to actual combat would not be an easy task for the CCP. The mobilization of its navy, air force, rocket force, and ground troops would require a complex process, and there are clear signs distinguishing drills from real combat.
