The European Union is moving forward with imposing tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles, despite resistance from key member states like Germany. These tariffs, which could reach up to 45%, aim to address what the EU views as unfair Chinese subsidies, but they risk sparking retaliatory actions from Beijing and causing further division within the bloc.
