China launches clean electricity project amid scorching heatwave

North China’s Tianjin municipality has put into operation the world’s largest single-unit power station, the Huadian Tianjin Haijing photovoltaic power station. Covering an area of almost 10,000 hectares, it combines photovoltaic power generation, salt production and aquaculture.
