The Philippines agreed to allow the US military and army to create 4 new military bases on their islands. These strategic locations will give the US the best seats in the house to recon that South China Sea. The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 different islands just 420 miles south of China making it a strategically important archipelago. They’ve been on the frontlines in WW2, the old war on terror and now the West’s new competition with China.

A Chinese spy balloon created a scandal when it traveled over the continental US for about a week, stopping to hover over sensitive US military installations. The US later said that that balloon was part of a Chinese spying operation that covered 40 countries and 5 continents. And one of those countries is apparently China. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at China’s domestic balloon spying program, its connection to western companies, and how China uses balloons for “stability maintenance”.

The number of Chinese illegally entering the U.S. from the southern border has soared.
