China’s Xi Jinping sets goal of reuniting China with Taiwan

President Xi Jinping has opened his Communist Party’s congress. He addressed more than 2-thousand delegates from China’s only ruling political party. Xi presented his vision for the future of the world’s most populous nation. This includes his goal of reunifying the self-governing island of Taiwan, even if it means using force.
