Hong Kong activist Samuel Chu managed to successfully lobby Congress to pass not one, but two major bills supporting Hong Kong after the Chinese Communist Party took control of Hong Kong. The Trump and Biden Administrations have used these bills to slam Hong Kong and Chinese officials with sanctions. Chu is not only a persona non grata in Hong Kong, there’s a warrant out for his arrest.
